Providence Creek Farm
Proprietor: Ben Gehl
Providence Creek Farm (formerly Chicken Worth Eating) is located in Clarence Center, NY and offers chicken, pork, and eggs. Providence Creek does not give growth hormones or routine antibiotics to its animals. As much as possible, all of the animals are raised on rotationally grazed pastures, and the hay that comes from those pastures provides the basis for all of the animals’ diets. During the winter most of the animals have access to the outdoors and are provided deeply bedded shelter. Because animals are free-range and raised with access to their natural diet and environment, their meat is higher in vitamins, beta-carotene, antioxidants, and health-promoting fats, omega 3s.
